For my first ModaBakeShop project I selected Lollipop to make this simple baby quilt / play mat.
A very achievable design for the beginner quilter, introducing them to simple piecing, appliqué and embroidery techniques.
I usually give away the quilts I have made but this little quilt has a special place in my quilting journey and will remain with me forever.
To coincide with my blog post today, I have listed in my little e-shop, five Lollipop kits. The kit has 2 Lollipop Charm packs and Lollipop yardage for the backing and binding. Team that up with the MBS tutorial - Lollipop Quilt - and you will have one cute quilt.
Thank you Sharon for inviting me to showcase my Lollipop quilt and the fabulous fabrics of Sandy Gervais.
Don't forget to look out for Sandy's new collections to be released soon, Merry Medley, Monster Bash and Phenomenal Falls.

Sandy Gervais's Frolic line is what got me to start quilting for myself! I love her fabrics and sense of playfulness her designs induce. I've always loved your Lollipop Quilt since seeing it in the BakeShop. Glad you kept it :)
